“Creativity is the power to reject the past, to change the status quo, and seek new potential.” ~Ai Weiwei, 艾未未
If you don’t know…You should.
After close to three years in the Jing; I came back to Port Perry and examined myself to see if I’d changed any. Any definite indications of character development. So far, haven’t found any signs of morphing. Have I grown?
I don’t know. Self-diagnosis was never really my thing. Who really knows if they’ve ever changed or made change happen despite themselves unless there’s a cause and others also believe in that cause. AmIRight?
I wrote the above in a way of admiration for someone who has instigated change. I’d heard of him, but have Shannon to thank for actually telling me about him. I have her to thank for the photo below.
He’s a Chinese contemporary artist. Active in sculpture, architecture, curating, photography, film, and social, political activism and cultural criticism. Highly and openly critical of the Chinese Government’s stance on democracy and human rights. Arrested in 2011 and held for 81 days without charges filed for alleged economic crimes.
He stands for rights, individualism, making things and making things happen and…awareness. He’s been said to be one of the most controversial artists in the world.
Perhaps vocalizing what you believe is controversial. Perhaps fighting for the right to smile without asking permission is controversial. I don’t know.
Why are Shannon and Ai on Felicity? I think you know. Do I have to spell it out?

Us happy people gotta stick together.
I depend heavily on my family and my friends who I ask to submit anything on happiness, motivation, how they find it all in the name of life and being able to live it. I am very grateful to them for their participation. If you’d like to do so please…drop me a line.~FindingFelicity
